These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Skip the Drama iOS application ("App") operated by Quelec Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Important: Skip the Drama is an educational tool for personal awareness and communication skill-building. It is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, legal advice, or medical advice. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a licensed mental health professional.
Skip the Drama is licensed to you, not sold. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Skip the Drama offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Skip the Drama Pro") for access to premium features including unlimited AI-powered Decode, Prep, and Cast analysis:
Prices may vary by country and are displayed in your local currency before you confirm purchase. All billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
How to cancel: Go to iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Skip the Drama → Cancel Subscription. You retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period.
Free trials: If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. Cancelling before the trial ends prevents any charge. After the trial, the subscription renews at the stated price unless cancelled.
We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods. All refund requests must be directed to Apple via their standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The App includes AI-powered features (Decode, Prep, Cast) that process text you provide and return generated responses. You understand and agree that:
All content in Skip the Drama — including modules, scenarios, book summaries, character analyses, and AI outputs — is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
The App is designed to help you develop awareness of communication patterns and practise responses. It does not diagnose psychological conditions, provide clinical assessments, or replace professional support. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as medical, psychological, legal, or relationship advice.
If you or someone you know is in danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis line (such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US).
All content, design, code, and materials in the App are owned by or licensed to Quelec Inc. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our prior written permission.
Book summaries in the App are original educational summaries written by us. They are not reproductions of the original works and are provided under fair-use principles for educational commentary.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quelec Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on any content or AI output within it.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quelec Inc. from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
The App integrates with third-party services including Apple (in-app purchases), RevenueCat (subscription management), and OpenAI (AI features). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quelec Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
